Butane cooker ban.

One could read any number of interpretations into what has been said by Fair Trading. On the surface it says; 1, the explosions were operator caused; 2, the stoves are ok; 3, the certification hasn't been done properly (perhaps as in the way Terry described.

As an example, I might look at the electrical and gas and refer all the way through the examination to the appropriate standards. I can say, hand on heart, that the electrical and gas conforms to the standards - and well it might. However, I have not got a piece of paper that says I can certify approval, therefore, it does not conform - even if it does conform.

So it just might be that there is nothing wrong with them if used properly. But that matters not one iota if the certification process was not correct.

I thought cooking gas was Chuck's specialty, I don't think he limits his talents to Butane though but I've heard that he has been banned from Dottie's inside loo after a release of a special blend he had cooked up for the occasion

Watching Getaway last week and noticed the cookers they were all the banned type.

Time for their O.H&S to do a bit of updating as well as getting some editing done to not show the cookers.

Ed Zachary Terry. I worked on that particular blend all bloody night & even waited until the very last moment before leaving that gift for D&G in the most appropriate spot. Must admit that I was quite humbled by Dot's response...
