Must still be a lot interested in the CMCA. A site with 407 members and 1897 views (last look) on the CMCA Elections thread. Bruce will be giving life membership to the person who started that thread. Will be watching the membership numbers climb in the coming days.

Well Iza the other place has the sanitised version suitable for the nearly brain dead. On here it is warts and all, without fear nor favour!
Over time I am sure that OZeRVnews will be the CMCA de facto members forum. Most people get fed up with only discussing one side of the story (the party line), having their posts deleted without explanation, and a plethora of rules that are selectively applied.

I am pretty sure there is a lot, lot more to come. You might even get a book out of it, Bruce.

Re: Life after the CMCA?
Well I have become a member here and I am sure I will enjoy your company.
After years of tenting, camp trailers, caravans and campervans I purchased a traditional motorhome (converted school bus) and then joined the CMCA.
Being a person who likes to get fully involved I started to hold up my hand to help. Diverting my life long skills, education and energy to the club that was setting the pace seemed like a great way forward for me, the club and the lifestyle concept we all embrace.
Being an Board election candidate is a natural step forward and there is certainly lots of work to do.
I look forward to applying my skills to help the team of Board Members to kick goals for the benefit of the membership.
People leaving or thinking of leaving the CMCA is not good and member retention will be one of my focuses as a Board Member.

Welcome Rick may you have a happy and entertaining stay here at the best friendliest forum around.

Queen of the Banal & OT chatter and proud of it. If it offends you then tough titty titty bang bang.

The welcome page to here says this.
There are already several forums full of discussions and disagreements in regards to particular organisations and Governments so we'd love to keep those topics to a minimum if possible.
There is a bit of conflict happening.
