Have you ever seen or heard of a politician answering a question with an intelligent answer. There must be a course they all do in pre-selection called ignoring the question and talk waffle instead. Scotty from marketing and the Fed Health Minister have become expert at it since Covid hit.
Apologies to Ray for hijacking your thread.

As we are now home, and under compulsory 14 days self-isolation, I suppose this thread is no longer relevant, as we are no longer nomadic.
So go for it! ๐Ÿ˜

Wasn't there a skit on one of the recent news parody shows with something similar about pollies not answering a question with anything close to intelligible but rather just a sting of words slung together that made no real sense .... Pauline was mentions but I didn't catch the come back line, anyone remember it?

Our self-iso parole comes through on Friday!
๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
Saturday we are allowed to hit the shops.
Lots to buy for re-stocking the pantry.
Been living on canned stuff & home-made pizza.
At least we had enough flour to make the pizzasโ€ฆ just.
Left some mussels, anchovies & sardines behind when we took off (deliberately). Great foresight from SWMBO! Seafood pizza was delish. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜
Some of the canned food was transformed from so-so plain food into great meals with her creative flair & some odds and sods found at the back of the pantry. ๐Ÿ˜
After 45 years on probation, I think Iโ€™ll keep her. ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿคฃ

Thanks Jon,
I thought she was good value when we met.
Reckon I was right! ๐Ÿ˜œ

The approaching Delta tsunami is why weโ€™ve scheduled the shopping for Saturday! So far, the shopping list runs to two pages.
Bit of a risk putting it off until normal shopping day on Thursday. :? Whole state could be back in lockdown by then! :o

Thats one of the good the things about living in the 'burbs of the big towns. The supermarkets deliver! We haven't tried that service yet, but who knows what the future will bring.

We have utilised on-line home delivery of groceries from Coles/Woolworths for as long as i can remember however, recently we did a bit of Click and Collect for a change. We currently use Coles for delivery due to the fact that Woolies delivery charge is over the top.

That would mean you've always had groceries delivered?
