Close enough David! I had 1.6km deep but that may have been a week after you measured it!!
How would you feel working 1.6km underground? Not for me, that's for sure!!

Thanks Bruce. I didn't measure it, it was just a guess. I sent a mate from work a pic of the 1900's version of an underground crib room as he had done a fair bit of U/Ground before. He basically nominated the depths he had worked at, so I used them. Apparently it doesn't matter if 10 metres or 1 kilometre of rock falls on you, the result is the same.
Anyway, does anyone know where this is?
