We stopped for the night at the Mundi Rest area 21ks East of Goondiwindi and boy it is still hot and quite noisy, but the doors and windows are all open so the trucks seem louder. Actually saw more animals on the road between Stanthorpe and Inglewood, dead wriggly sticks x 2 heaps of roos (dead) 1 live and 3 dead lizards and 2 dead black pigs. That drive was rather enjoyable, so many trees. Lots of those tiny bugs getting into the bus now so might be time to turn the lights off and hit the sack. x

If you get near Binnaway give me a yell there is room for another one at home.

Now at the Tookey Rest area for tonight. Bugger of a day, decided to call it a day at 1100hrs parked under a tree and put the genny on so the 2 air cons could do their magic. Still warm but at least the heat isn't so oppressive but those bloody little bugs are here again. Time to turn the lights off and listen to the trucks rumble along.

Sitting in the dark just watching, and listening to the trucks doing what they do.
I've done that many a night when Annee's bolted inside to read a book.

Shitte, the trucks must come rather close to your fire Lance if you can hear them For those that don't know, Annee sometimes has to come down to the fire and assist Lance back to the van when only he and I are left having a chat because it's so loud no one else can sleep
