What a start to the day, was up for an early start and I got that spew feeling, That was the protein drink I had 10 mins before(waste of $3) so after a few more head flings I thought better replace with a drop or two of water Bad idea, I had thirst a camel would be jealous of so I slurped a glass of flat lemonade down only to get that old feelin again well this time I presented myself some chunkier thing from days ago when I could eat, not once, not twice, but trice by this time we were running very late so rang clinic for advice as also had appointment with the oncologist as well today, take it slowly and also take a bucket with you in the car and to still come down. When we got there one of the nurses took me into a room and did my obs , gave me one of those plastic bags and said the Dr would see me soon. He did a quick assessment and ask nurse to give me this and that and he would be back after his next patient. To finish off the day I was given some little pill to put under my arm which gave very fast relief to the throat pain so I could swallow the other pills he had ready for me to take. Then he told me to sip a glass of water and when I was feeling ok I could go home and there would be NO zapping today . Armed with some new scripts G went to the hosp pharmacy while I sat on the bed getting my body ready to stand up. The Dr said I was most likely not happy with the morphine so that has been benched (going cheap ) So tomorrow is going to be an earlier start as Dr wants to see me at the other clinic at 1030 then over to the usual clinic for zapping. Got home at 1pm and flopped there till 3pm now have managed to get banana smoothie down and it has stayed put Fun and games in the house of Beau .
Shirley yes it is the radiation that is making my throat so sore and unable to swallow. (think they are doing a cremation from the inside out)
Col you should know nothing and no one can make me stop talking it was so nice to see you both even though for a very short time.

With the thirst, maybe try a sip of cool / room temperature, almost flat, sparkling plain mineral water.

It won't have the sweet/stickyness of lemonade and may even soothe the throat.

This isn't like a normal sore throat it has been burnt so the pain has to be suppressed which may only be achieved from the inside and to do that it has to be the hard stuff to do that which should allow me to be able to swallow. If none of this works then the tube may be the next step. ( #1 tongue man did warn me of this possibility )

Shirley I forgot your Weis bars suggestion. I don't like them so there are more left for Tanks

Honey Whiskey is another option, but stay away from the TV when you crash tackle the G'man It will numb the throat pain and not taste all that bad if it does the return trip while numbing the throat and mind at the same time.

Well no zapping for me today either but I did get a couple more scripts A/B's as I had some nasty green stuff appear and an old mans hoik also produced some as well. See him again on Monday before he decides if I can be zapped then. Meantime my hair has started the migration Cancer clinics are such happy joyful places, can't wait for the next full moon to shine some life into us all. Rant here now. When you see how much these people have to pay for their drugs not covered by gov then we drive past the "park dwellers" having their comfort fires, shit circles and no bush roses, and a police security around them getting handouts from the PC doo gooders brigade then I get peed off well and truly End of rant, now to bed e buys for a few zzzz's.

Looks like the extra fentanyl patches are starting to kick in as I am now coping with taking the big A/B tablet and I can now get drinks down, even had some ice cream for tea Did what the DR said and got rest today right through till 3pm between G waking me up for all the pills and drinks so maybe back to zapping Monday, lets get back to kicking Big C's arse hey Last lot of pills done so bed time xx
