Saw the Oncologist this morning, he is happy with my recovery so far and he said ok to restart the zapping sessions and he will see me again on Thursday just for check up. To continue the good patches and the rest of the pills and potions. So the count down begins once again line up you little suckers line up

Keep hanging in there Dot. You will get though this.

Happy Dr I have put on 2kgs since started the zaps. Seeing as I am not able to swallow stuff again and mainly on Fortisip, banana smoothies topped up with heaps of ice cream full cream milk and added sustagin powder. Oh yummo, even tried to suck some chocolate tonight but no excitement there either. So some good news for today I guess.

Sounds terrible Dot, good that you are enjoying the smoothies, guess your swallowing won't improve until after you finish the treatment, great that you have managed a couple of extra KGs, makes ones aches & pains seem insignificant.

No taste at all now Shirley but the special drinks must be doing their job. Saw the Oncologist today, he said the throat ulcers will get worse later on but for now upped the Fentanyl patches and decreased something else and told to take the Endone when I needed to along with the soluble Panadeine and stuff. Another zap session done
You know this lady HTFFBO well she is a naughty person, when we got home today she arrives with some choc ball things, they smelt and looked so nice but not worth me trying to have even a nibble BUT that didn't stop Gman and her from stuffing their mouths , Revenge is best served cold I say

This is not sounding like a walk in the park Dot. If your body works like mine, the endone is useless on it's own, but once you add the panadol at the same time, oh boy what kick. Hope you get lots of relief from that med. xxxxxx

Endone and Norflex works well too, but just Endone lets me sleep at night without the sweats that the combination produces. I wonder what Endone and Fentanyl patches works like, I guess well find out soon eh

Trying to even swallow the Endone and even the soluble stuff is like trying to give birth to a 10 legged elephant, The actual pain of it passing through the pipe is nothing I have ever had before nothing.. It may be looking at them putting the PEG tube into my gut if things still go down this path. There will be more ulcers to come I have been told. BUT look on the brighter side of things, I just had my 16 zapping session and now just 14 to go
I am now onto 50mcg Fentanyl and 2 Endone tabs but I try to keep things down to a min and just keep comfy. See the #1 surg next Monday so he shall be able to shed some light on things as right now.. time for another sip of even tasteless tasteless water..
