That must have been some party last night, Jon, As a rough translation, does that say "Parts to do the repair on the MG?" The only damage is a scratch mark in the plastic on the passenger from door lower part, yet to assess if it will be a "character mark" or if I'll need to swap out the one from the other white MG4 I have in the yard ....

The lowering onto the plastic under tray and sill rails as a very gentle affair, so no damage there .....

Best to leave as a character mark.... because otherwise, it may get end up like the washing machine or the ground valves or the trailer , or, or....

A proof of concept trial run on the front wheel stop
Trailer front wheel stop 1.jpg
More mods required, the MG tried to drive over it  Fortunately, with the right hand wheel held up ..... and a bit more driving control learnt, it back up just fine. I was going to take more photos, but the phone battery died, seems I have killed yet another USB cord so the phone isn't charging from the 'puter

Need to make proper guides up each side as well, but the proof of concept using the aluminium for the solar panel mounting worked as intended, so I didn't contact the door plastic bit with the trailer guard this time

After the house battery went flat because it was cloudy and I'd plug in the Waeco to be an additional freezer ..... the work schedule took yet another turn ..... finish wiring up the battery.
I've been fighting off the flat battery for the last few days with jumper leads from the silver MG4 (the repairable one) but it has to be on for the DC to DC charger to work so the big battery keeps the 12v battery @ 14.2v ..... that works fine, until the MG decides no one is driving it or sitting in the seat, so it shuts down  Think I need to find something heavy enough to trigger the seat switch ......

This afternoon/evening, I've sort of got it wired up. The Victron BMV 712 can see the charge coming in from the MG, but I can't find which cupboard the negative terminal block (I bought back in March) is located .... so I've ordered another one and no doubt, when it arrives, I'll have two of them
Margaret has just arrived home, so after dinner, I'll try to get her to plug the 'puter in and program the new inverter so it will become a battery charger ...... hopefully ..... or I'll have air out the Winnie to get the burnt circuit board smell out and start again

The inverter has had it's program sorted and is up and running ..... well, still on mains power, but it fully charged the battery and is passing through current from the mains like it supposed to, haven't tried pulling more than the 5kva yet, well, not intentionally anyway, so yet to test the inverter power assist function ..... and tomorrow, if the weather improves, might even test running on the inverter and battery without the mains as a back up ..... if that works, I can finish off the trailer welding without having to swap the main supply between the Winnie and the welder ......

Another step closer ..... the diesel heater has arrived during the week, so another job on the list .... that list isn't getting shorter, the priorities just get shuffled around a lot

T1,
Re the MG4 shutting down because of no driver in the car.
We found that a 4 litre cask of good red will trigger the seatbelt alarm in our Supercar. 🍷
Unfortunately the effectiveness wears off if you take too many “quality control” samples.

Getting it to move, under it's own power, out the gate from the enclosed area, with the mega $$ trailer attached and the MG4 on the trailer ....... and the V2L cable rolled up in one of the bins so the Winnie can be 240vac powered by the 51kwh battery in the MG4 while free camping ;)
That means I can get the GENERATOR out of the rear Winnie bin and have a useful storage locker in its place 8-) :D
