Yeah, think that was his name, he was a good bowler, l only occasionally bowl mixed bowls as the Navigator doesn't bowl.
I sometimes think I should take them away with us but never do, maybe this year as we have often stayed near a bowling club.
Binnaway is a nice town we have often stayed & good since they built the showers,toilets & power outlets but as you say not much employment available.
We have stayed at Mendoran many times too behind the police station always spend a few dollars at the shop.

Bob, are you looking for some work from now-ish til May per chance?
Large cattle station NE of Alice Springs requires couple to help out.
Male to do bore running (check waters and start engines to pump water for cattle) and odd repairs and maintenance.
Female to do cooking, cleaning and watering of lawns.
Found someone to start in May so looking to fill the position from end of January until May.
