Sometimes they don't , didn't expect that did you ? sometimes they do what is called a pedicle graft. Used to keep the blood supply to the newly grafted area, after a time they divide the skin holding the 2 areas together..

Surprised they're not using skin on the foot! They wouldn't have to shift anything.
