She is a rather subdued camper this morning, excitement, sneezing and laughing are not something she seems keen on, no idea why
I don't think Dotties talk about the Royal's poor performance helped much either cause this will be her first trip to an Adelaide hospital and first experience without her specialist actually doing the job. Fingers crossed all goes well and all is found to be in as good condition as can be expected. Her specialist did warn her a few yrs back that the next attack would probably kill her so she has been following her instructions rather carefully since then.
I'm rather anxious as well, this is the same procedure that lead to my mother's death because it was handled by someone with insufficient experience to tell the difference between pollets bleeding and a full blown attack of diverticulitis resulting a shredded bowel that could not be repaired and the introduction of both types of staph just to finish the job off.

Oh you are a cheery lad today, just what she needs to hear The worst that can happen is that she coughs when he is about to shove the tube up her jacksie but she will not know a thing about it just the theatre staff will be muttering under heir breathe I hope you went down in the combi with the porta pottie handy? She will be just fine ..

Better to start that Picoprep early than the instructions indicate then you have a better chance of a decent sleep & being empty I reckon.

Be thankful you have that stuff to clean you out, back in my day we used to sit the patient on the loo and do a tube wash out till it ran clear. i.e tube down your throat and kept flushing till nothing left in your guts at all.. It was revolting and time consuming and that was just for the nurse.

Margaret came through it ok, no knock you out over here, just pain killers so she watched the whole hr long process on the TV She reckons she should be a few kg light and not just from the flush through but from all the bits they snipped out on the way back out.
This little black duck won't be putting my posterior in the firing line for anything like that, I'd prefer not to know till it kills me if it is going to kill me.
