Up when the sparrows break wind, throw on some clothes and rush out the door to start watering the garden. Forecast top temperature is 42. Desperate to get all garden beds done before we hit 35, and water pressure limits us to two taps at a time.
Facing other time pressures: volunteered to drive a friend to Albury for some cancer treatment at 12:30.
Managed to get both done on time!
Arrived home at 17:00 to two cross hounds: dinner was an hour late!
Temperature outside on our return was 47deg!!!
Now relaxing with a chilled glass of bubbly.
