Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Well bugger me (on 2nd thoughts forget that) Nice to see you here again Keevo x Come back soon. Today Gman really had to drag me out of bed as we had to be in the city for 0930hrs, the traffic was rotten but we got there right on time. For once the waiting room was empty and I thought "Oh great no waiting" ha ha The receptionist looked up and I said the usual name etc, she then tells me the Dr isn't there today and that my appointment is for the 5th APRIL so back home we went.
Then our yard dwellers arrived. Time to say goodnight everyone x
Goodnight Wendy x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Oh Dot, that was a bad start to your day. No wonder you are tired now. XXXX
Thanks for you kind wishes Helen. My thinking is that as the drought still hasn't broken, money will still be tight, so not expecting to make our first million this weekend. We will still have some mischief and meet up with some lovely people.
We had an adventure too. A late start with Dr appt at 1:30 in Belmont. SO we set off and made good time to get there by 1;30. I was back outta there at 2, so we had a picnic by the lake and set off again. We took some kind of circuitous route to get out of Newcastle area, but when he has worked out one of his long cuts, I shut my gob. He thinks he has it right, but I reckon he added an hour onto our time by taking the way he did..sh, he might hear me (he is asleep as I type), anyway, we made it as far as Murrurundi, before we declared the innings over for the day. The park owners were very excited to see us return after only 2 weeks. We explained that we feel we can help by travelling to where they need help and besides that it is a rather nice little park.
Off to Glen Innes tomorrow.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Hi everyone. This trying to retire is sure hard work. As always everything always happens at once. The grape harvester started picking my shiraz at 9 pm last night ( last time as I have sold this property ) and I got to bed at 3 am only the get up at 5 am as the concrete floors were being poured in the house I am restoring. All finished and packed up at 1 pm and a quick trip into the Doc. to have some stitches out from a spot removed. ( All clear ) Probably not too far away from bed now. Goodnight All. Goodnight Dot.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Good luck with the laser treatment Dot. Hope it helps you, amazing what they can do isn't it? xxxx
Helen, I learnt a long time ago when to pick your arguments. I reckon, unless it's going to inflict further damage on whatever or cause pain, leave it alone. We still have a few niggles occasionally, but it makes for a peaceful house.
We arrived in Glen Innes to find the weather is very hot. We are in the town that is the coldest in this state and the day is up in the high 30s. The locals can't handle the heat at all. They had a few problems with getting access to the main hall until late. So some of us traders just jumped in and helped. It did not cost us anything more than our time and we were not doing that much anyway. So by 11pm, the whole thing is set out and ready for us to go in tomorrow with our goods and set up our tables. Then we will be trading 8-6 Friday to Sunday. Not our choice of hours, but time will tell if we can manage it or not.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Ray I would not want to know about his sabre
Deborah todays laser treatment was a bit different, not the actual treatment but when the lady called me into the room and said "my name is Mandy" laying on the table I kept thinking "I know this lady" after the bells and whistles went off to say times up, the lady came in and so I asked her "did you work at Mt Barker yrs ago and your daughter was just getting started with horses"?
She said "yes but oh that was a long time ago about 20 yrs ago" How's that, she worked for my physio who is now my GP. Small world isn't it? Time to hit the sack it's been a long day. Goodnight everyone x
Goodnight Pet-els x
Jo & Derek are here for a few days
