that was fast Dot. I will admit that I am slowing down in my old age, and by the time I have thought about it -Iiv'e forgotten what it was I was going to do.
We had a 43 degree day today in the Wheatbelt with 41 degrees in Perth, so I'm off for an early night with the air-con running thru the ducting in the house. "Russell" is in bed already.

"In the Longyard"
Lyrics from a Slim Dusty song ---- Put him out there in the longyard with his mate the baldy grey
One day I am going to rewrite the lyrics to that song just for us and play it when I enter rallies or get togethers
Regards
Gary

The Kennel
When we travel the dogs always come with us.
Some times I think we should have called it the Dog House then I would have somewhere to go on those long coooollld nights

I like that one Geoff!
Did you have any problems with the recent inrush of water? We never got a lot of news down south about the floods other than around Bundaberg.

"Wothahellizat", on account of that's what people say when they first see it.

Saw one recently called
"The Nissan Hut".
Guess what brand of bus was converted?
The word
Nissan was humped in the middle.

Ours is "GIRT"
Map of Oz, containing the words,
"Our home is...
GIRT"
You
wouldn't believe the people who don't recognise a line from our National Anthem!
At Boonah Rally, while sitting inside Girt, heard a Member of Public walking around on Public Open Day:
"I dunno about some of these motorhome names.
What the hell is a 'GIRT'?"

At another occasion
(elsewhere) had a woman come up to me...
Conversation went:
She: "What does G.I.R.T. stand for?
Me: "It's a line from a song."
She: "Oh? What song is that?
Me: "It begins,
'Australians all let us rejoice/for we are young and free'."
She: (With red face and very quietly.) "Oh."

Those of you who have travelled around NZ should be aware of our legendary Tui Beer " yeah right" bill boards.
We created one of our own for the back of our van.
