Would you believe, the US has forced that clip to be taken down over there ..... How fragile is his ego ...... once they start censoring social media ....... not looking good for the non-oligarchy citizens over there when even the funnies get censored

Second time, T1.
Remember that not too long ago a cartoon was blocked from publication by the proprietor because it showed all the Tech Bros kneeling before the Mango MAGA Madman and offering him bags of cash.
The cartoonist resigned in protest.
For a look at where America is headed, and how it will happen, go to SBS On Demand streaming channel and search the ‘Documentary’ tab for “The Abyss”. Eight 58 minute episodes, but be quick. It disappears in three weeks.
(Include “The” in the search or you get a 404.)

Hmm, getting personal with the insults are we ?
Now for your interest, I stopped smoking over 40 years ago, gave up beer as No1 drink over 15 years ago when I shifted to WA. Started my own distilling for personal use 6 years ago, I only drink socially ONE night a week ( Friday nites here in the Village)
Just to add to that, after many years as a motor mechanic, ( with the old days of the workshop full of brake dust every service ), I also beat Lung Cancer,( Left lung Lobectomy ) and the men's curse of Prostate Cancer, and live a pretty moderate life these days.
I'm happy with my lot and as a Reiki Master I seem to be able to seek out the truth on most things that can confront me and make my life less than pleasant and resolve them in some way. Sometimes just by blocking the offending wanker, what ever works for me I'll use it as I don't need the stress.
I spend a lot of my time where I volunteer at Mandurah Muscateers Charity Computers assisting the very crackheads (as well as other people people caught up in a downward cycle ) that you're accusing me of being one of, so I do know the difference of a Crack Smoker and a generally well adjusted person, ( ME !) which is something that you seem to be missing with your wild statements!
Ron xx

The joke just gets better — or worse, depending upon your perspective…
The “Golden Age” in the US, which the Mango MAGA Madman promised in his Inauguration speech seems to have struck a pothole or two.
His tariffs on imports from Canada and Mexico have been activated.
And what is Wall Street’s reaction?
1. The bottom fell out of the share market.
2. The Crypto Market leapt, then crashed to below its day’s starting point.
Perhaps the brokers have seen the
real picture: their Dear Leader has gone over to the Dark Side, backing Putin by blocking all military aid to Ukraine and leaving the way open for Putin to mount an opportunistic attack.
ps. Ron,
TL, DR
Same same.

Canada and Mexico's reaction will be interesting. Canada has already arranged deals with Europe to sell their rare earth minerals, and Japan to sell their gas. They are imposing a 100% tariff on Tesla vehicles, and I expect all US built vehicles will be next on tariff merry-go-round where each side inflicts pain to their own country as well as the country the sanctions are against.
As for Mexico, who knows, but they will surely close the border entry points ..... that will make it harder for US citizens to escape, they'll have to go to Canada and cross the huge border there.
The tariffs on the auto parts from Canada will cripple the already staggering US vehicle industry, no rare earth minerals will cripple Tesla and any other battery manufacturer in the US, so no company in their right mind would consider setting up or even remaining in the US. A lot have already pulled up stumps, the stampede out of the USA is about to start I think .......
I sort of feel sorry for the average citizen over there, but they could have stopped it if they have voted ...... the rejection of votes was bad, but they can't reject votes made at the voting booth on the machines .... so they still could have blocked him out .......
The USA is the last place I'd want to visit for quite some time, they are no longer the power house they once were ...

Just watched a bit of the speech trump made to Congress, "The days of rule by unelected bureaucrats are over." So the main topic on X etc is "Did he just fire Elon Musk?"
Elon Musk and the Musketeers were never elected, or appointed by any division of the govt, he was given the job by Trump yet no one is willing to say he is actually in charge of DOGE to protect him from direct law suits .... he seems to be even more immune to any legal action than Trump himself .... I guess that is what all those millions gets you when you buy your very own President, an open licence to sack who ever he wants and look over files and publish the names and addresses of those he wants to get rid of before they can finish investigating his actions over the yrs.
If congress run with this, and they should, not only is Elon out of a job, he might even be out of the country if they find any of his actions to be treason ..... Send him back to South Africa ...... they'll know what to do with him
The next question of course would be, what about the President he bought and paid for with borrowed funds, how deep will they look into his action since ..... well, how far back does his Russian links go? ....
What do you do with a President found guilty by the courts, or who ever, of Treason and corruption of the very fabric of the American governmental system .... as well as possible other corruption charges that would pile on top ..... it wouldn't take much digging to bury him in them if they can get him before the courts .... or who ever judges these things in the USA ...... If it comes to the Democrats taking action ..... I believe the best description I've heard was "Silence of the Lambs" .....
So it might take the power of the people to bring them down .....
Not WW111, more Civil War 2, probably with nearly ever every country supporting the "People" side, Donald and Elon haven't actually made many friends recently .....

It gets worse, even Elon's AI chatbot has estimated, by looking over records and statement for 1980 onwards, that there a 75% - 85% likelihood that Trump is a "Putin compromised asset"
https://www.msn.com/en-au/news/other/el ... a0ac&ei=59
Hard to threaten an AI with deportation or being lock up in Guantanamo Bay .... and does Trump have enough leverage on the man who bought him the election, to make it shut up or change it's mind?
Has Trump really pulled back on Elon's leash after the big speech Trump made before congress about unelected persons making governmental decisions ....... with Tesla sales collapsing world wide, 50% being wiped off his stock value and his latest attempt at space flight blowing up, Elon being pulled back from blocking any investigations into his affairs might be the signs of Elon's smoke and mirrors power and wealth tactics, all falling apart ......

Maybe, he's all part of the Donald's retaliation program. If I recall anywhere near correctly, all those that didn't support him last time he was POTUS, they will suffer his wrath.
At the end of the day, it is US politics and whatever we think, say, or do, matters for nought in the grand scale of things..
Having said that, I care less for Musk than I do for the Donald.
