Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Morning all woke up to strong winds and heavy rain. Went out the back and the guttering overflowed so book boxes and small cupboards all wet. Major overflow at my tool cupboard and flooded the camping gear area. Not happy that is for sure.

The D.I.L has been posted to Edinburgh air base for a while and is arriving to stay the night this afternoon. Need to get the roast pork on for a nice slow cooked roast with the daughters family coming over as well. Have fun folks cheers Robert

RobertNotBob,

I was based there for 5 years 78 - 82... SNCO in communications, after that I was posted to HQOC (Headquarters Operational Command) where I retired in 84 after 21 years service.

Ah bugger Chuck!! As it happened, we didn’t leave Marysville till this morning as Erich had a couple of dizzy spells while we were hitching up yesterday. As it was persisting with rain and we were to drive over the Black Spur we decided to stay another night to make sure he was okay.

Happy to say we had a good run this morning and it was dry the whole way. Could only get a small unpowered site at Lilydale which tested Erich’s reversing skills but all good.

Catching up with our youngest daughter on Saturday which is the only reason we came this close to Melbourne.

Hope we can cross paths again soon.

Good morning all. Oh this QLD weather at the moment. Where the sun rises at the moment we can sit on the patio for brekky
and no breeze under flaps from the bistro blinds which have now been replace with windows and door. Did not realize how much coolness came in under the bistros! Sat out there last night until 7.45 having nibblies( which started at 5pm) . Getting a tad nervous as June 4 arrives rather quickly.
Time is passing too quickly so live life to the full with your spouse/partner while you still have she/he by your side.
