We hope to be at Tanks place for the weekend so if you could make it that would be great.
We are currently stopped at Yerdani Well Rest area Camps 6 #318. Looked around Coolgardie and the buildings there are fantastic. Heaps of emu's in town as well :) Lady in the IGA store not a welcoming soul but the one in the Info centre was good. We were going to stay in the CP there and tour around tomorrow but the CP advertised in camps 6 ( The haven CP) was shut down by the council and they have replaced it with their $30pn concrete side by side plot in town so we kept going.. Beautiful sunny and warm day. This rest area is large, well off the road and has lots of rubbish bins with the same breed of bush roses ;) :( 2 caravans in right now. Brian has been for his walk of the area and did his leave no trace bit. He is a good boy :) Changed my mind he has just gone and grabbed Miss Meow's back leg so she slapped his face for his effort

Will do Martin. Today was another warm sunny day, stopped at Southern Cross, looked at the big hole in the ground, got some groceries, refuelled 139cpl. then came the crunch.... Gas refill 9kg = $45  that beats Karratha  I really wanted to watch the footy show tonight but no reception here at Burracoppin Centennial Park  Now I know why we didn't stop here last time. Not anything exciting about this stop at all. Still getting the same fuel consumption that is 3.7 kpl not too bad I reckon. Should be at Tanks place tomorrow plus will catch up with other friends we met on our first trip west 12 yrs ago, they now live in Tanks town. Looks like some rain might be greeting us tomorrow but we have had a good run since we left home.

We made it to TanksRussell town just after lunch. Good run once again pretty well sunny all of the way. Some overnight drizzle but nothing to worry about. Mr Russell has gained some weight since 40 mile beach this time last year. Looking a bit like some rain coming in for the night. Doing some much needed washing and G is doing some checking over of all things bus and car. :D
