Busy day today, went to catch up with those friends we met some 12 yrs ago at Bush Bay (Carnarvon) They have moved here to Tanks town and the lady has opened her own art gallery and he is a cabinet maker (retired) but he continues to do small jobs for some friends. His workshop made the Gman turn all shades pf

We no sooner got to their place and Riki closed the gallery and proceeded to make lunch. Then a tour of their huge house and the work he has done to this grand house is fantastic, we sat at the kitchen table and just talked, talked and laughed at the things we did way back when and also solved the worlds problems

Time we went home (5pm) and after Tanks saying he had tea all sorted so at 6pm we arrived to a set table where we were treated with a meal of Mushroom soup, a perfectly cooked fillet steak with vegs. The soup was so filling that I had to quit after 3/4 so I could fit the main meal in.. I did the pudding but a while after the main meal, made Tanks happy as no chewing was involved (stewed apples and hot custard) Rolled back to the bus around 9pm and ready to hit the sack as our friends asked us to go with them to a place called "the spud shed" and to be at their place at 8.30am

My eye balls will still be in zombie land but I shall make it. Tanks tells us that that place is a couple of hrs away so looks like it being a long day. Going to have to separate the naughty brian from Miss meow while we are away as he enjoys annoying her (males) Had an email from Jamie to say he caught Norman (Oz Norman galah) committing incest with his daughter today and to expect eggs

I wonder what he and Glori have been doing in front of my innocent birds??? And so another day comes to an end.

No Mr Russell is one cat chaser under instruction from his master.
I wet the bed this morning and was up and out of the bus by 8.25am as we were to be at our other friends by 8.30am as we were going to do some shopping at the spud shed and we also went to Maccas for a treat

Ended up doing 400ks for the day, got home around 5.30pm and really tired so after Tanks yelled tea is ready and watching a bit of TV I had to come home for a nice shower and to get into my PJ's and then hit the sack as we are heading off tomorrow towards Geraldton. Twas a beautiful sunny day today and enjoyable all round.

Brian relaxing.jpg
This is what you call a relaxed pussy.
First a big thank you to Tanks for his warm and entertaining hospitality over the past few days, made to feel so welcome from both Tanks and Mr Russell , Thanks Tanks.
We headed off this morning after saying goodbye to our other friends and just as we got out of Tanks town the heavens opened up and the head on gale hit us so we decided to stop the night a couple of ks out of Wondan Hills. Brian and I went for a quick walk between showers and you will find this hard to believe but there are no bush roses at this stop

The country side is looking so pretty with the green of the wheat fields and the bright yellow of the canola crops looks like they might have a bumper crop this year. After our walk I had an idea to read a bit but I went straight to sleep and then the next I remember was Gman saying tea time. Just had tea and Brian the terrorist has settled for a while so now it is time for the scrabble board to come out so I can beat the old fella once again. By that I mean win the scrabble game.

Not cold enough yet to put the genny on but it has been dam cold the last two nights. Off towards Geraldton in the morn but it may take us a couple of days to get there.
Q/ Seeing as our car ignition has to be on the acc setting when towing, would that drain the car battery much? found the car a tad sluggish to start. Safe travels everyone.

A/ Quite possibly. Guessing indicators etc are working via the suzi battery. Make sure all radios lights etc are off. May be worth a 5 min idle at the end of the days run just to make sure..

Thanks Martin, the lights are through the bus we run the suzi for the suggested minute every 300ks but might make that a few mins longer and see how we go then.
