Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Dot, hope the man found nothing suspicious on that craggy baggy saggy hairless body today      xxxx

Terry, when I mentioned to his nibs, the idea of replacing the battery with lithium, he was not impressed. He did most of the research for the replacemnt battery and got what he says is the best...not going there, not worth the argument. Anyway, we have been chatting with our club mates and found a different approach. Apparently jayco are notorious for weighing the vans before many bits are built in (little extras like air conditioners), so it is possible that the van would have to be totally empty before we weighed in, just to get the the top weight. I don't really have a lot of stuff in there. We have a specialist in Newcastle who will upgrade the van springs and axles and totally engineer it so that we can carry a sensible amount of stuff and be A. safe and B. legal. Looks like the investigative phone calls will start on Monday. Will let you know what happens.

Helen, sounds very tempting, but probably not easily arranged with his nibs at the moment. He is still getting used to driving the new truck and I wont even try until he is a lot more confidant, so I feell a bit stuck with him at the moment. But hey, we are doing a lot of stuff, so free time is not there either.I would love to meet up though, one day.

Today we went to the little local zoo. Cute as. They had the necessary suspects. Meerkats, avian critters by the hundreds, a few lions, alligators and a lot of different kinds of small monkeys. No wombats, I feel cheated. Just felt like another day at school for me. Tomorrow will be action packed too, so I need some ugly sleep, and fast.

You still up Dot ? seems like it's been a slow weekend for you xxxx

Helen, if you can get along to Broke Road Pokolbin, have lunch at Sabors desert bar. Cannot really explain how scrumptious all the food was....not cheap, but for a one off, cannot miss it. It's at the back of a vineyard, but the fancy signs at the roadside say there is a desert bar...yummo.

The gents all went to the go-karts and had some fun, while I had a good peaceful sleep in. After they did their noisy thing, we all headed off to try this desert place... well worth the callory blow out. Had a mango fro dinner. Still too full from lunch.

sweet dreams out there, mine will be sugar laden dreams for sure. xxx

Deb,
Is the Pokolbin Desert bar like the Desert Park in The Alice?
Or is it a DESSERT Bar? ;) :P
Regards & God bless,

Hope Gman found some good quality crap at the garage sale. I would have joined him, I love a good old rummage too. Please give the wombats as many treats as you can and enjoy your snuggly visit with the aminals. xxxx

Smarty pants Ray, it is a dessert bar, yes, sweet food for all, not sandwitches.    Obviously I had way too much sugar yesterday and it affected my spellometre.
Definitely put it on your remember to visit book Helen. I reckon it was a great highlight of the weekend.

We did our usual visit shops today. Found the local Clarke rubber and a hammer shop. Just to buy the stuff that is not easily available near home. So did the weird shopping. Bought some fancy foam to make a cushion for my car seat. Upholstery in the patrol is lovely, but I need extra shaped seat for my crappy body to have a little bit of comfort. Cushion has been cut out this afternoon (using the bread knife) and modified a couple of times until i am happy with it.

Off to get some ugly sleep before we head home in the morning
night all xxx

When we were in Tassie, one of my ex wives decided she would try to sneak an orphan baby Tassie Devil out of the sanctuary park close to closing time. It had been gradually getting darker as the sun headed over the hills and some of the native animals were starting to get a bit aggressive while others went looking for some where to hide. The ex wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed so didn't realise that Tassie Devils hunt at night, so she hid it down the inside of her jumper and jacket. You can imagine the reaction once the Tassie Devil was in the dark  had the park attendants laughing till they were near in tears as the ex decided it was time to remove any clothes that were stopping the Tassie Devil from escaping. While treating a few good scratches and bites she received they explained it wasn't scared about being down her jumper or being taken out of the park, that was just the way they turned for cute little fur-ball to a fiery lump of teeth and claws when it got dark, so the sudden dark inside her jumper flicked the switch
