"tanks" here---Book me as a contender for the EASTER 2015 gathering. (Please include "Russell").
At present I am unable to make any plans pending the disposal of the Mercedes, and I won't know anything till early next week. In the meantime I am enjoying a stop-over about 300m from Newcastle George's place in a very nice park area, and enjoying the convenience of Club Meals at the Bowling Club.
George has invited me to his place on Saturday night for a home cooked dinner, and I have invited George and his Wife to dinner at the Club on Sunday night.
I have posted this message to bring the GUM TREE LAKE location to the top of the listings of places to go and be seen in 2015
(Brad, please google this location and see if you agree that it is by far an improvement on the 40 Mile Beach Campsite.

Hmmm, nothing like a red herring to throw you off. But yes, I'll give you that GTL is very close to Gum Bend Lake or as the line in karate kid goes, "same but different".
Note the No Dog sign which apparently did not deter me and Muster.

So what about Easter next year ? ---Look at early April 2015(ish).
I plan to be there around that time to greet the OTHERS who may arrive for a few weeks. Get your name on the list of possible interns.

I see no signs about "no pussies allowed" but the no drinking worries me a little

The "No drinking"is actually No Glass permitted around the BBQ's, amenities & lake area... & I do believe there is a no dogs sign on the walk around the lake area but none in the camping area.

Good on the booze side of things, cans are cool and casks are cooler, and do you mean to say you went for a walk around the lake Chuck
