We phoned the Coronavirus Hotline and asked if we could get printed certificates to prove our double-shot status, as I can’t access MyGov.
Girl said “Of course you can!”
They arrived yesterday, nicely decorated with the Oz coat of arms watermark.
I’ve scanned them so we can carry them on our phones rather than carting a physical sheet of paper everywhere. 😀
One crazy point:
My certificate notes that I’m due for a Zoster booster in December 2017! :?

Wayne put up the clue the other day, go to the My Gov website, open your Medicare link, find your vaccination page and download it to your phone or other appropriate electronic device. Simples.
You don't need to print anything.
I think everyone that gets the pension or pays tax has a My Gov account.

David,
Have you tried changing your password using MyGov’s “I forgot my password” button?
I’ve spent hours trying unsuccessfully…
To set a new password you have to enter the password you’ve forgotten.

And to get the certificate from the Medicare app you have to link to it through your MyGov account. :?

Must be a "friyt machine" thing ;) When you clicked on the "lost my password" didn't it send you a one off code to get you into your account?

Ray, when I reluctantly opened that My Gov account, as it was the only way a Payg employee could access their group certificate, I realised that Big Brother is, and has been for a bloody long time, watching. So, I clicked the remember my password for this site tab. You still need the SMS code that is sent to your mobile or email, so it should be alright. To apply for a health care card, I had to link it in with Medicare anyway.
Anyone who thinks that the gubmint doesn't already have all their info is kidding themselves.
I see on the TV news tonight the gubmint are talking about creating an official covid passport. I'm thinking it will be similar to the concept of the, cough cough argument Australia card. Cough. Cough.
Dunno how the populace will accept that.

The powers that be know everything there is to know about us and then some, so why fight it? just lay back and think of mother England. If having a passport to travel is on the cards I will put my hand up for one.

LOGIC LESSON REQUIRED!
According to Victoria’s “eased restrictions”,
we are allowed to enter a cafe or restaurant, sit down with up to 18 strangers — Covid status unknown — and enjoy a meal over several hours.
As double-vaccinated adults, we can attend a wedding or funeral with up to 18 other people — Covid status unknown — although we’re not allowed to dance at the wedding (or funeral, for that matter! )
Yet we cannot visit a single friend — who is also double-vaccinated — in her home. 🤔
We are allowed to drive to her home, pick her up in our car and dine at a restaurant… but we can’t have a meal at her home.
By splitting hairs, we could drive to her home, walk around to her back veranda and eat outside. 😜
But entering the house is a definite no-no.
At this point, my brain is starting to hurt.
I’m going to lie down in a dark room…
