When this flood is done and gone, there is going to be a million or so kilometres of fencing that will need to be repaired or replaced. The Blazeaid crews, among others, are going to be busy for a while.

It fixed the new photo postings but it still requires two photo load, delete the first attempt and repeat the "Add files" step, till the second box "Place inline" appears. Just tried it again and the same thing, it will be interesting to see how the photo appears in the post ...

Nope. It's the exif details within the photo. Strip that out & all will be good.
Open in a simple graphics program & re-save it will strip it.
Simple free program call Irfanview will/can fix it.
I use either it or a copy of Paint Shop Pro to do the fix.
