It fixed the new photo postings but it still requires two photo load, delete the first attempt and repeat the "Add files" step, till the second box "Place inline" appears. Just tried it again and the same thing, it will be interesting to see how the photo appears in the post ... Nah, still sideways, maybe Bruce might have a chance over the next few days to see if it's a forum problem .....

Nope. It's the exif details within the photo. Strip that out & all will be good.
Open in a simple graphics program & re-save it will strip it.
Simple free program call Irfanview will/can fix it.
I use either it or a copy of Paint Shop Pro to do the fix.
