Hmmm..... that cocaine sniffing finally did the nose in eh .....Dot wrote: ↑Sun Dec 06, 2020 2:51 pm I'm backThey tried to kill me off but failed
Once again under the knife 27/Nov. Hopped onto the theater table at 3pm for another slash of the arm/tongue, lower lip muscle realigned, and to top it off seems the radiation had "burnt" a hole through the nasal cavity so a nose job was in order. When you have a dry mouth from not having salivary glands then try breathing through your mouth and see how your mouth feels. Now I have stitches down the middle of the arm/tongue and stitches on my lip inside and out.All ok surgery wise but apparently when in recovery I didn't want to wake up, my monitor went off and people were everywhere, There was the Hosp medical officer,& the CCU Dr hovering taking blood gasses, an ecg and a nerve stimulation tests and talking CT of head and being admitted to CCU. This was all around 8.30pm. Anyway I rallied and opened my eyes (sort of) and apparently spoke some sense obs ok so to the ward I went. They were sus that I had had a stroke hence all the tests. Better to be safe than sorry and glad to of had the people there. Had a couple of nights in hosp but I can't remember much of the past week , so very tired. , Thats it for me and surgery I have had a guts full so watch out world
Watching"Carry on Cruising" at least you can laugh at these old movies. That's it. Nanna nap time again Cheers everyone xx
you sure they weren't worried about you dreaming about getting a stroke and the smile ripping the stiches out .....

Glad to hear all went well Dottie. When you told us you were booked in for more cut and shut work and then the Covid lock-down was announced, I thought they must have put the hospital stuff off until next yr.
Take care and try those "steak in a glass" Coopers Stout to build you back up ready to do battle with the world.

Re: NO Hungi for this Tongueeeeeeeeeee
Saw the specialist today for him to check his handy work. He was ever so pleased , lip stitches all out (in and out) all but one stitch gone from arm/tongue and healing ever so well, the bit he cut off the end of the tongue the results came back as all clear
then the boogy hole exam , also pleased but still no blowing it and keep up the saline spray and those stitches should drop out within the next couple of weeks.
So happy with that ,and see him in 3 mths .woo hoo.. Transmission now in recess.
