At daughter's in Bris child minding last night & back to our van at friend's at Deception Bay this morning.
By the way that rain is still desperately needed. Last week up at Bundaberg we have never seen the cane crop looking so bad. Many will have no crop to cut as no money to pay for electricity to buy the water. So glad we not still cane farming. Sorry for getting off track.

Still at home near the Cardwell Range, bit of sun shine this morning, 250mm of rain in the last 5 days, just cracked the 1m mark for the year, still about 400mm less than same time last year though

But the creek has turned into rapids and the swimming hole will have a really good clean out

About to head south from deception Bay this morning & stop wherever this afternoon to daughter's in Bellata to-morrow but do not even know at this stage which way we are going after going over gateway. Have to see if Bruce's licence has arrived at daughter's PO Box to-day.

Yoo Hoo first time we've had internet since leaving Onslow WA headed down to check out Exmouth, Coral Bay, Ningaloo Reef Hmmmmm that's another story!!!! Freedom of choice is not a choice anywhere here
But now we are at Fortescue river Caravan Park fixing a puddy cat mishap!!! Tell ya's later!
But we are gunna see if we can gat a nice spot on the beach at 40 Mile (down from Karratha) and sit, stay, do bugga all. if not we'll go up to Cleaverville Beach (above Karratha)

"tanks" here--- I have sent you an e-mail. Camps Aust #7 indicates mobile signal at both sites 501 (40 Mile Beach -Gnoorea Point) & 506 (Cleaverville Campsite) I guess you have to have Telstra for contact.
