Bernie, Repco have a rubber trim product, it works but I don't know it's name. It's a Repco product though. You put it on, wait for it to dry then wipe it off

Not this forum Dot. This is the one where political and religious discussion is frowned on.

Bernie, The Coaster windscreen used to leach that black stuff when we first got it, then I used to wash it with CT18 or CT20 truckwash. And the black stuff stopped washing down onto the white panel underneath the w/screen. I thought there must be something in the truckwash to stop it happening.

Bugger, your w/screen rubber must have a slightly different compound the the Toyotas. Off to Repco then Bernie.

Bernie, looking at those photo's maybe use less water and more CT18?

Seriously, is it a mould? or actual rubber?

Just a update on the bleeding rubber . As yet I haven't used the stuff I bought from Repco , my next door said it would be the CT18 truck wash that's doing it . So all I've done is was the bus with Kitten wash and wax so far no bleed off . There has been a few good showers of rain since .
I will wait a bit more to see if the problem reappears .

We haven't washed our bus with the truck stuff and we still have the "black" staining..

We use truck wash on the Coaster & have the same problem but we have always had the problem long before we started using truck wash.
Bernie I wait to see your opinion of the product from Repco, good luck hope it solves the problem.
