Bernie 22 here for a change. No family today but going to lifetime friends who would not hear of us at home alone so heading over to Jindalee for the day then our Rhodesian neighbours for a bbq when we get home. Mary and Chris want us to see how they celebrate.
Time is passing too quickly so live life to the full with your spouse/partner while you still have she/he by your side.

Morning Bob...nup went around us got nothing..friend on the eastern side of Biggenden received 11mm .

Good morning all. Had a wonderful day with lifetime friends then got home 4.45 & walked over the road to our neighbours. We were the only white folk there out of about 12 adults and children of various ages. There was enough food for an army! Tasted a couple of Rhodesian dishes as well as their staple food of a white gluggy stuff made with maize. Like gluggy rice & they use fingers to put into eg a dip or to "mop" up other food. A few of them were using fingers to eat instead of cutlery. Never saw any alcohol anywhere.
