I know what you mean by dry air breathing. I have only been having/getting a few hours sleep at a time.
Here we are and it is 04:50 am and I have been up for a hour already.
I checked the lotto ticket; won nothing on the Saturday lotto, but I won $16.35 on the Wednesday draw. I don't usually play the Lotto "game" ,and I prefer to keep my dollars under the bed instead of in the lotto office, but I can justify a bit of a splurge every now and again.

I'm now playing the "Forum Look-see" to see who is out of bed having a cuppa, and I don't think it is worth going back to bed. Also I am slowly sipping down a Lemsip drink to wet the throat for a bit of relief.

These medical problems generally occur on a weekend, or just after the medical centre closes on Friday. I don't think the condition is severe enough to disturb the only Doc in town. The poor bugger works day and night and he needs a bit of a rest, and my sore throat can wait till Monday, but if the Lemsip does not calm things down I will trot my butt up to the hospital.

Up early today...
Much excitement in the house.
Doggie diarrhoea all down the hallway and out through the doggie door.
Fortunately 95% is on the hard floor. Carpet cleaner got a good workout though. Just a few spots, fortunately.
Now I’m up there’s no point going back to bed.
F’cast today is 40, (which means 44 at our house) with 0% chance of rain.
... and we’ve finished the jigsaw.

Yep, had an early start, fired up the 'home' and am now tied to gum tree opposite the town ready & waiting for the fireworks to begin in a day or so. Guests might get wet feet coming aboard!!!
Deckie Brian gave me a hand with the ropes & enjoyed a speedboat ride back 'home'. Thanks Brian!!!

Good morning from Rothwell . Temp is rather nice here lately. Neighbours wandered over twice yesterday and we spent both times sitting on front patio in sea breeze. Bruce was using post hole thingy to dig the 4 holes for my arbor & Geoff was being advisor. A jack of all trades being ex brickie.
