Good morning from Rothwell. Lots of smoke yesterday afternoon visible in the ranges but no idea where it is coming from. Cousin in Merimbula has bikini ready to put on in case of having to head to ocean as no where else to go. Son in Canberra but that highway open & shut frequently so decided she did not want to head to Canberra only to get halfway & the road shut again.
Maybe no walks this morning- some stuff falling on the roof!

Morning folks woke yesterday to a cool day with some rain, enough to wash the dust and soot of the trees. The daughter and family have been over to Vic as far as Sale and back home via the Murray visiting friends.

Yesterday arvo we spent a few hours at their place so mum had her grandkid fix after two weeks. Stayed for dinner and had a good nighy.

Molly starts her new job this morning and just hoping they do remember they hired her.

So take care folks and stay safe as the fires are a long way from being finished while they are still arresting idiots for starting them. Cheers Robert

No rain here But I reckon it is needed elsewhere more than here. We went up to Toowoomba on Sunday arvo. The smoke haze on the 'downs is still really bad. They had a light shower of rain on Monday morning.
Currently 24deg here heading for a top of 30 today.
