Re: Good morning daily
Good morning all from downtown Ararat Vic. No sign of rain here but the wind has picked up a bit. It needs to rain though to clear the smoke haze that is hanging around the Grampians. We went on a bit of a tour yesterday up through Stawell to Rapunyup and across to Murtoa. We visited the stick shed there. Then went over to Horsham for a look. And then back through Stawell where we visited my brother and his wife for a while. I was knackered from driving the Jimmy along some interesting country roads all day. But most of those little Victorians back roads are still better than the Newell highway though. We are off to Great Western for a tour, then maybe a drive around the Grampians today.

Re: Good morning daily
Bob, I think I must be getting used to the clock fiddling time that they use down here. And a train went past and that woke me up properly. It still isn't properly light here yet though. I had forgotten that the further west you go, but still in the same time zone, how much difference it makes if you are used to waking up with the daylight.

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning, 22 still raining, Norfolk Island pine has taken out free standing brick garage overnight 3 houses to the east of us, still very windy & our neighbors gum trees overhang our house fingers crossed, hope they don't fall. The water level in the lake is high & a king tide is expected.
Tuggerah Straight is under water according to the news, Maccas is totally flooded, not surprising think it had to happen, it has always flooded in that area.
