I think Cliff found out the hard way that the more effort you put into a UWE the more pain you suffer. I think the concept of someone saying they are going to "X" for when ever and an invite to anyone who wants to also meet up there is by far the easiest way.
This yr we will be going to the Stone The Crows, they have done the organisational work so I'm happy to pay the $$ for the week and meet up with others who thing along similar lines.
I've gotta say, Wayno organised one of the best UWE I've ever attended and that was the Gentle Annie trip where we went to a smoke house demo and lunch, winery tour, lookout trip to see some of the bushranger stories and a few other bits I can't remember. All open to either attend or not attend each event so if you didn't want to spend the $$ you didn't go, a campfire each night over on the unpowered side but never got to find out what happened over on the powered site side. That must have taken a lot of work to organise and I just can't see anyone wanting to put there hand up to volunteer for that much work and risk it all going pear shaped because of a clash of personalities.

I also agree with what Bruce has said so come on you lot lets get on with life it is a new year.

I didn't see any of the offending posts mentioned above, but I gotta say Bruce, lots get said behind a keyboard that wouldn't be said face to face. Can't say we've ever had a bad experience at a UWE or a happy hour.
But yeah, if any of you have an issue simply stay home and don't bother beefing about it, no skin of the nose of others.

We just received our Permits for STCs.
We'll be on site 342 apparently.
Probably catch up with some of you over the weekend. If we don't find you, you know where we are, so make yaself known
Looking forward to this, it sounds like a bit of fun for those who are getting into it.

Just got our new permit, 450 instead of 312, seems the sites were not long enough for us so they had to create one special.
Hope that doesn't put us in the boonies !

How big are the sites as Peters set up will test them as well,

Apparently there will be a 2017 map on the web page over the next week or so.
