Good idea Bernie. I think the telegram boy might have a flat tyre.

Re: CMCA Elections 2017
Cuppa, Candidate 3 is Rick Banyard. Older bloke and appears to be a forward thinker. I have had a chat with him. For the non-CMCA people who are interested, a little bit, he has a Facebook page CMCA Rick Banyard. I don't know how to do the link thingy. It is in his answers to the questions to the candidates. He has ideas for new member benefits and that is what I like, so he will get my first vote.
Candidate 4 is Kim Atkinson. I'm all for a bit of gender diversification to counter the "old boys club" comments I sometimes see. I don't know where you can get more info on her, not on the CMCA site, but I am pretty sure she is involved with setting up the up coming rally and that has a Facebook site. Personal opinion is for new blood so she will get my second vote.
Candidate 1 is Gary Rebgetz. You should already know something about him as he has been on the board before.
Candidate 2 is Arthur Bugden. You would have came across Arthur on the Forum during you days there, Cuppa.

Abject apologies Bruce. Typing one hand by the light of a torch (takes the glare off the screen)on the banks of some waterhole north of Longreach. The BigPond wireless device is rubber banded to the top of a fishing rod and even then, only one bar, sometimes.
Edit done but feel free to leave notice of my lack of number checking if you wish.

Still got coverage - I notice that the CMCA part of Rick's facebook page address does not appear in the signature at the end of his first 13 answers. Go to Answer 14 and the full "CMCA Rick Banyard" address appears. Some have found it, going by the latest hits numbers.

So a sneaky link got through LOL. Someone dropped the ball big time.Izabarack wrote: ↑Wed Jul 12, 2017 3:06 pm Still got coverage - I notice that the CMCA part of Rick's facebook page address does not appear in the signature at the end of his first 13 answers. I just checked Iza, Q14 was from Maryanne. I cannot see any link to Rick's Facebook site now.
I think Rick placed an election advertisement in the latest Wanderer. Towards the end if I am correct. No doubt he would have placed his Facebook link in the ad.
I just checked Rick's ad in the Wanderer and there is no Facebook link. It seems a bit odd that Rick would have placed an advertisement in the Wanderer and not have included his Facebook page. Perhaps a cockup, albeit an expensive one.

Yes, proper/full link is no longer appearing. It was there and now it is not. I only found the full link because I had been trying to find Rick Banyard on facebook but thought it was my computer skills letting me down. Once I found the address in the question 14 answer, straight to the site. The appearance of the full and proper link stood out to me as it appeared that Candidate 3 had appended a standard signature line to each answer so I was surprised to see the full and proper link only in that answer.
Pretty good site though. Shows he is forward thinking especially like that he is thinking about European trends towards doing away with internal combustion cars. What is a big rig electric going to need in LiFEPO?
Could someone with the necessary skills put up a direct link to Rick's Facebook site?

Re: CMCA Elections 2017
I cannot help you with that one Iza as I do not use Facebook.
Why not email Rick? I am sure he would be happy to provide a voter with a link to his Facebook page.
