Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning everyone , that little bit of rain we got was only 3mm Bob , not worth talking about .
Not much happening here . Bruce I by-passed all the wiring on the mower and went straight to the electo clutch thingy via a on off toggle switch and blow me down I now have two ride on mowers... I can engage the blades now with out the mower going .
Now the next project is the key start on the log splitter seems to not work..might be a hot wire setup when I get finished with it :?:

Its been wet and windy night overnight in Launceston. Rain started about 6.00pm and hasn't stopped. The wind came up just after dark and has continued to blow. It is 11deg right now. Looks like it will be a good day to visit museums.
Cheers

"tanks" here---David, more like a good day to stay in bed, and wait 'till the temp gets up to about 28c and the sun is shining.

The morning started off with crap weather but it finished up not too bad. Even though the wind has picked up again, it is 17 outside, if you can get out of the wind. Otherwise it feels like 10. We went on a little cruise this morning up the Tamar and into the first bay of Cataract Gorge. Hopefully the weather will allow us to walk in to the chairlift later this week. After the little cruise we went to the National Motoring Museum and the Launceston Tramway museum. Tomorrow we might get to ride the tram.
We have found a farm stay type place that is only 6km from the middle of town. It is called Old Macs farm. I will add a link in a while. It is cheap at $15 pv/on. You need to be self contained but most of us are these days. It is about twenty acres of reasonably flat ground and has a cafe up the hill that does breakfast and lunch.

And it is pet friendly, which seems to be unusual for Tassie.
There doesn't seem to be much in the way of long vehicle parking available in town. One council guy I asked about parking offered the reason that Launceston is the backwater of Tassie. We did find a huge area adjacent to the motor museum, that appeared to have been the site office for an adjacent hotel development. But who knows how long it will be available. SWMBO is now beginning to regret not bringing the little car over but we have still managed to get where we needed to be.
