Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning everyone. Gardening all caught up with, almost up to date with trip photos to dvds so we can watch on TV, ironing caught up with so it looks as though the books are the next thing. Wish I could get my mojo back to pick up the crochet hook- maybe tonight. Yesterday I went through ALL birthday photos as far back as 1956 forwards including our children, grandchildren, any friend's parties we had been invited to and put them all to DVD. Had some laughs looking at them on TV yesterday afternoon while having a cuppa. Might attack all wedding photos today. Keep safe as we are all in that "age" group.

Morning folks overcast this morning but hoping for sunshine this afternoon.

What is a wicking bed when it is home?

Hi Dot a wicking bed has a reserve of water in the bottom of the pot. Operates on the principle of the old kero lamps. It means I only water the small pots around every 4 days and a week for the larger ones.

Mainly staying at home and only going out for fresh vegies and any medical appointments. Still plenty to do so no problems here.

Take care Robert

Morning all!
Must have (Dottie & others please note: not ‘must of’) moved the wrong way in my sleep... ribs woke me with a sharp pain.
Here I am wide awake at 0600! 🙁
Checked all unread messages, listened to a podcast, and still not able to get back to sleep.
I hope the day is going to be a good one for all.
Our plans for the day: SWMBO mucking about in the garden, with me as Gardener’s Labourer — on light duties only.
She/we have marked out a new bed in the front, using recycled wedge-shaped concrete bricks for a raised inner circle & leftover paving bricks for an outer ring.
And what will be planted in it? NO roses 🤭😳! This one will have a weeping tree feature with ‘green stuff’ around it.
Details yet to be finalised.
Heard mention on the Ch9 gardening show of s dwarf variety Jacaranda, but an interweb search draws a blank.
Anyone else here know of a source?
Regards & God bless,
Ray
