Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Doggie gone home and Brian is pleased
Got traumatized today, when I lived in Beechworth (1970) the old lady next door always sang that song Edelweiss top of her voice day in day out it drove me crazy.. Anyway today the Mr Whippy van came to town and it sent me back to 1970 arrhhhhhhh took a couple of cups of tea and a banana to settle me down
Might go for a drive tomorrow feeling housebound. Time to say goodnight everyone x
Goodnight WayneP x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot after hearing Eidelweis, I reckon you should have had one of had of Keith's favourite wiess bars. xxxx I know you dont like them ,but stay on the theme a little bit xxx
Shirley, you are right about the health funds, but they are too dear for many little old pensioners. They are the people who I feel for with the health system Dont forget to order your NSW government seniors travel card now. ours arrived last week and the pin numbers came yesterday. What good timing . Used it today to top up the tank.
Lesley, I am glad that Erich has had success with the stinky green lipped mussels and Macca, at least you have a different plan B to fall back on. Hope it helps you.
Yesterday, I saw the shoulder man and he declared that I have a frozen shoulder. Not pretty and very painful (I could have told him that). Anyway it can settle down with no treatment over a couple of years. exercises can help (perhaps maybe) and surgery is another option, but has a 6 month recovery time. He convinced us to buy his $20 pulley device that has ropes attached to use as a sort of stretchy torture thing. I spent a lot of time last night with dr google and nobody can really give much insight into frozen shoulder. It's a case of maybe for every one of the options. I am wondering why would you do things to increase the pain by overstretching and suffering more, if there is very little proof that this will help the pain to leave faster or not? The surgery option is obviously not the best option, but I am running a bit confuddled at the moment. I feel safer doing the physio's stretch exercises and can feel they have helped a bit. Will think about the pulley thingy eventually.
Today we started out in the van on our regular selling circuit. We are at Tamworth for tonight and tomorrow we should arrive in Glen Innes to start on our selling spree.
goodnight all xxx

Dottie,
All you need now is the Harley Davidson and you'll be a paid-up member of Dykes on Bikes!

Dot would be better off in a JEEP, she might fall off the Harley and end up with gravel rash.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.
