OK lets say 1890s. This bloody internet that Louise has to put up with out here- NBN sat- works when it wants to work. She as to go to town (45k) every day to do all the farm/ agronomy business on her computer. Am not even going to try to post blog till I get home.

Okay, I’ll give it to you Kay.

It is the Point Lookout Croquet Club in Maryborough. Established in 1898 and still going strong.

Moved from its original location at Point Lookout on the Mary River, where lookouts were posted to signal the arrival of ships coming upriver to dock, to its present premises on North Street.

It is the only Croquet Club in Queensland to own its premises.

We are now hooked on Croquet and usually play there 4 times per week. [emoji3]

Well there ya go , won't listen to little old ladies anymore .
When we lived in Ipswich many moons ago the lady next door was a Croquet player and she told me it was the oldest club in Qld .
Maybe she was talking about herself ????
