Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning everyone, it's another beautiful shorts and tee shirt day today. We are just heading off to the marina via the conservation park and back. Might have to take a water bottle. Have a great day all.
Cheers

Good morning 12 & beautiful sunshine again today, lake is calm, still not many folk venturing out on the water, only a few neighbours in kayaks.

Just posted this & when I hit submit, error came up & stated couldn't find the site ? I had to re log into the forum & my post was there so it did find the site?

Morning all - I survived the night! We had an invasion of paper wasps, all intent on constructing nests on our veranda. 3 separate building parties, around 3 to 4 metres apart. Would have left them, but one nest was very close to where we sit, & they were giving us dirty looks, so thought it best to deal with it before it became a big problem. Google was my friend. Strong solution of soapy water in a pressure sprayer & a readiness to run away fast! Left it until after dark. Very successful & didn't need to run away. Afterward sprayed where the nests had been with WD40 'cos Mr Google said they don't like that so hopefully will prevent their mates trying again in the same spots. Sun is shining & the Maggies & butcherbirds are singing.

A quick spray with kerosene does the trick for me, they drop like flies. Almost forgot, good morning all.

Happy bacon and egg day everybody. We are having a hash brown and maybe even a sausage as well today. But I think Bandit will get the snags for his brekky. It's 16 going on 24 here today. We had a little shower late last night, but I don't think it will have troubled the rain gauge much. Might have to get up inside the roof today and see if I can work out where the roof leaks when the rains blows in from the southwest.
Bernie, I was going to ask you if you needed more holes, but i see that you have found enough now.
Cheers

Bernie, are the Brolgas there all the time or do they migrate in/out with the seasons. Down this way, we get some Jabiru but only when the wet is on up north.
Forgot to say, 'have a great day everyone' before.
Cheers
