Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Dot, you partying again?   Enjoy it while you have campers in residence xxxx

As the start of daylight savings, it's also the start of the yachting season. So we had pretties to watch in the sunfilled bay for much of the day. Lots of free entertainment and it was good to start the day late and then remember that it's even later!

Kiln schedule was still not hot enough for the platter. It's getting another try tonight, along with a wine bottle getting flattened on another shelf. This is taking a long time, but I have nowhere else to be, so might as well head for perfection. A mate keeps bring me her empty bottles, so there is about a dozen of them, all green, waiting their turn. That should be enough for a while.

night all xxx

Woopeeee daylight saving and I got up early. Cold windy day with some blue skies and some rain drops. HTFFBO has all the under cover clothes lines full of washing ready for departure on Tuesday. What about the rugby GF? thousands of people in the stands no masks to be seen, then the idiots on the streets with no masks no distancing and kissing whom ever they came across and they have the Gaul to say there isn't any such thing as covid and they have the right to do as they want. Hope those tossers enjoy the respirators. Personally if no vac then you get in the line after those that have been vacced are treated. Robert n Bob and Mollie are turning up tomorrow for a meeting with HTFFBO and YES scones  My pussy is tired so time for bed. Get back into that Kiln Deborah ready for those markets. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Waynep x :D

Don't know how busy your street is Dot, but we also have way too many lemons. His nibs puts them in a bucket on the footpath with a kids chalkboard that say free lemons. Lots of people stop and collect a few, some are greedy but mostly people share nicely.  xxxx

Kiln is warming up again tonight. The bottle from the top shelf flattened beautifully, but the plate is still not dropped enough. It's getting warmer tonight and another wine bottle will get flattened. It's amazing just how flat they get.

The start of the day was lovely, but as it seems to be the way, the winds blew up this afternoon. Boats were being tossed around a fair bit and we had built in entertainment again this afternoon.

sweet dreams out there xxx

"tanks" here---
Talking of lemons--I pick the lemons from the neighbours tree and take them to the local fish shop.
The neighbours don't want them so they are put to use rather than just falling on the ground to attract the insects.

The temp at Dysart is 23.4c at 06:40am and another fine day in paradise.
I have run the air-con these past few days and I think I will have it running again today.

I am so tired after beating the sun up, seeing the yard dwellers on their way, driving to Finnis to pick up a model plane for a friend, then G went to the block I stayed home but ended up getting the fallen Wisteria flowers away then smart me decided to hose the front and one side of the house but that buggered me so left the other sides for another day. I had parked the bus alongside the fence where the dogs bark all day and the cats pee on the trees, they cut the overhanging trees down so I took advantage of going in the bus. While I was checking out what needed to be restocked I saw the woman peering over the fence so I just watched through the blinds, it was weird she was there for a good 5 minutes just peering over the fence. I was so tempted to pop out the door and scare the shite out of her but thought hmm wonder what she is up to so I stayed in the bus until she went in side. Then my friend came for a visit and I went to sleep   I'm off to bed now, Bus to have new alternator fitted tomorrow morning  Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Mr Bandit x :D & goodnight Mr Major x :D Hope you are feeling much better now.

You are keeping busy Dot. Keep the next door person wondering, is a good motto to have. ;) ;) xxxx

My dwarf mango tree has decided to come good this year. After planting it a few years ago, our first crop was 12 delicious mangos. Then last year, all it had was 3. Seems like it is one of those trees that only gives fruit when it wants to? Anyway, this year, the tree is very much in flower. Most of the flowers will blow off, but even if I only get one fruit off each sprig, it will be a bumper crop.

Finally finished this plate after a dozen or so firings (lost count). I am really happy with how it turned out, but sadly it had a split develop in it, a few firings ago. It was healed, but because it may be a weak point I won't be selling it. As I really like it, because it's so different, it will happily live in the lair.

Another windy afternoon, so it was quiet around here again.

nighty night xxx
