Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

I think I may have beaten Dot to here tonight. Wonders never cease. xxxx

I have finally some finished art to show you. The kiln has been busy, every day, just not giving the results that I want every day. But I have learnt a lot.

Another two wine bottle cheese boards

The splat bowl has had many firings until I am finally pleased with the result

The bit that I had therapy with yesterday is having a bit of a hot time tonight, so it may be a while before you see it finished. Today I did a few Christmas tree decs. That is enough for this year. Apart from another shelf with more tiny wreaths, this is as much as I plan to do. They aren't expensive and I want people to spend big on jewellery, so these might just entice them to look (hoping we get that chance to flog some stuff.

All that has taken up my day.

The bottles look like African masks, love the colourful "splat bowl" . Heard from HTFFBO today and said they had a cuppa with Robert not Bob & Molly on their way up to the top. Helen said the weather has been rather cold and very windy same as here  Time to head off to bed now. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Miss Evie x :D

Ended up having to do some repairs on the dripper system, couple of leaks found. The roses are in bloom and the wisterias are just about to flower for the second time and the fruit trees have little fruit growing. The new neighbor was here today, he told me he had made a police report about the copper wire thefts and the bike that was left around the back and the copper said without either camera footage or catching them there was little they could do but he also said they have an idea who is responsible as they have been caught before. Been watching the Queen show again, Freddie certainly was a one of a kind, very sad story but he lived his life to the fullest. Time for bed now so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight WayneP x :D

Dot, you seem to have a very nonactive police force. If they have a suspicion, they should use the full power of the law and catch the nasties. Oh well, maybe time for the new neighbour to install a security camera or six. xxxx

Glad you like my splat bowl. It has no function other than to look pretty colourful. So as a piece of art, I am happy with it. The glass in the kiln was looking lovely until I found several holey craters, spread around the piece. As the kiln was all set up for this piece, I left it in there and added a bit more glass to fill the craters and it's warming as we type. Hopefully , we will get back to normal transmission soon.

The only excitement of the day was watching one of the posh cruisers, losing a solar panel in the wind. It's hanging by all the electricals now. The winds are gale force, so we refrained from rushing out in our canoe to save the millionaire some more money. reckon he can afford to replace the panel with platinum fittings. Basically, we are staying in the warm upstairs and watching the world blow past.

Good to see you have some better weather too Dot xxxx

Aw gee thanks Ray. It's not talent, I am just crazy and enjoying what I am doing. I am loving the chance to really keep redoing things until they are what I want. Making the most of our covid down time is great, but don't look at the house. Definitely not a house keeper, never was.

The weather was perfect today. Sunshine and no wind. We went down to the caravan and emptied all the food cupboards. Most of the stuff was thrown in the bin. It has sat in the van for too long. Normally, it would have been used and replaced as we travel around, but just sitting in the yard for 6 months is not good for food. I usually write dates on all food things that go in the van. I can see what has been replaced, by the dates and what has just sat for too long. I did an online shop and the cupboards will have fresh food replaced soon.

Christmas decs are in the firing line tonight, fingers crossed.

Dot, I agree the missing child story is chilling, but, there are a few things not being mentioned about the family set up. Until it all comes out in the open, I don't feel free to fully comment. Hope you're enjoying some sunshine xxxx

Did a bit of kiln stuff. The Christmas decs, did ok, a few didn't stay together so they will get more treatment another time. Put in a couple of wine bottles to flatten tonight.

Late afternoon, I was upstairs waiting for grocery delivery. No text saying, on our way, nothing. Just noticed a truck as it wizzed past us and finally had to reverse back up past 3 houses. Idiot truck driver, not like most of the deliveries that we have had. Things were not as good as usual. A tin so badly crushed that it had to be thrown out and the plastic jar full of flour had the container so badly crunched that I had to find a different container to put the flour in. Really only minor things, but it would be so much easier to go to the shops for myself. Anyway, after sorting out the things for the house and stashing the van collection in the spare room, the groceries have been dealt with for a while.

Loving the sunshine today,
nighty night xxx
