Good morning everyone. We have had a bit more rain overnight. Will check the gauge later. Bob, you will have to go with Bernie this morning its raining again here. I picked up my new glasses yesterday, they seem to be ok. Did bugger all else all day, just wet enough to stay indoors.
Can't see it being much different for the rest of the weekend. The garden is looking a lot better after a few showers. Travel safe all those lucky enough to be out and about.
Good morning daily

Good morning all. Another miserable day, wish it would "rain" instead of this drizzle stuff. Only 11 in gauge yesterday. thinking seriously about not hooking the van up, at least for a few months.

Re: Good morning daily
You're right Kay, it is a miserable day. We thought that we would take a chance and head off on the Broadwater walk at around 9-9.30 this morning. We were doing alright until about half way and the sky fell in. It was a fair bit heavier than the drizzle that we have had for the past day or so. I tipped out 10mm yesterday, 21mm this morning and there is 10mm or more in the gauge already. I hope that it is doing some good somewhere.
And because of the ordinary weather it has turned into a cooking/cleaning day. Made a couple of trays of sausage rolls, that will last a few days.
Bernie that's a great looking log splitter. I hope you didn't do your back in lifting the rounds up onto the bench though. That's the bit that always gets me now. The lifting part. Enjoy the rest of your day everyone.

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone. Bob, it is still raining. It started getting a bit heavy yesterday afternoon. Hardly stopped all night. I will check the gauge in daylight. I did bugger all yesterday, probably have the same result today. Enjoy your bacon and eggs Bernie. Take care if you are out travelling on the roads. Have a great day everybody.
Cheers

Morning Bob , thanks for the breakfast wish
I will enjoy my bacon and eggs .
We had the same miserable weather here as well , not much in it more would be good .
That log splitter is a 30 tonne Dave , haven't had anything that it cant split...all that timber is either black or grey iron-bark .
Made a tow-ball setup for the ride on mower yesterday so I can tow the splitter around .
.
No good asking how the painting went "A"
Might have the day off....enjoy what ever everyone gets up to today . Good morning Helen .
Bernie .
Just beat me Dave .

Re: Good morning daily
"tanks" here---Bernie2,
watch out for white ants / termites where you stack your wood mate.
Place a sheet of galv roofing iron on the ground under the wood pile and don't stack the wood against the wall.
The little buggers can make a mess of wood in a short time.
A mate of mine living at Cooyar has just had a costly experience, as have 7 other houses in the district, with a few houses only fit to demolish.
Keith.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.
