Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

I hope the puds are enjoyable for you Dot. I use aldi ones now, cause it's too expensive to make them using the olde English recipe. Just add tons of white port to them as soon as they come home and they are lovely for the big day. Your pics look good and the little bit of your garden that you are showing looks lovely too. xxxx

Did a bit of van tidying in readiness for our return home tomorrow. Watched a bit of Bathurst. I reckon the echidna was the star of the show...only in Aus.
Had quite a bit of chat time with the left over crowd and now back in a freezing van for the night.

night all xxx

I swear by almighty pussy I am going to give up this baking bs. My attempt at making little boysenberry pies today was another flop, The pie making attempts last time in the oven = flop . I was told to pre cook the base for a while, even put the rice on it. First the rice wouldn't get off the base, then the fruit added and the pastry on top gave it a egg wash and into oven till nice golden brown , it looked lovely but it was rs, the base was 1/2 cooked ?? 2/ The pie making machine thingy = flop, found it impossible to fit the base and sides for a start, but put the fruit in and the top pastry.. same result as 1. 3/then I was told to use a muffin pan , this time I did the cross X of the pastry, fruit in and folded the pastry over and put it into the air dry cooker , same result , partly cooked base = flop, so that does it no more. Had visitors today, Robert not Bob and Molly, we solved all the worlds woes and came to the conclusion we are stuffed  Scones, jam & cream were all eaten. Afternoon was spent on my bum watching V8's battle it out for HOLDEN win  Now it is time to hit the sack so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Toolman x :D

Thank you Dot and Mr G a pleasant few hours. Daughter and grand daughter came round to give Mum a hand to put up the Christmas tree and looks very nice. Watched the first of the Big Bash and was a slaughter of the Stars by the Sixers, nothing else. Cheers Robert

Time for bed e buys so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Lesley x :D

We had a safe trip back to the lair, parked the van in the backyard and left a lot of the stuff still inside. Tomorrow we will be putting a few more things into the van and the truck and will be off to Bathurst on Wednesday.

I fitted in a visit to my chiro this afternoon, and that has helped to straighten my back out a lot, so the next trip shouldn't be quite as painful as this mornings run.
Apparently, the nights in Bathurst will be in single digit temps this weekend. That is not a promising thought. When nights are cold, people usually stay in their beds late on weekends. Sales may be slow until the days warm up, but at least it looks like we will be able to have some sales...fingers are still crossed.
