Isn't that Canberra amazing?
Librarian told us the steel frame of the building was completed — no cladding — then the bomber was backed in and hoisted into position, hanging from the roof trusses.
Then they finished the building around it.

Yep Ray that's the closest I've been to a Canberra bomber, used to see them flying when much younger, also the Vampire of which I owned a flying replica .
Morning everyone bit fresh here this morning , was only 5deg when I went for my walk yesterday..still no furry critters Helen...too cold for them I guess

A cool 7 again this morning fired the mower up yesty bout another hour today and that'll do for a few weeks.

Good morning everybody. Bit late today, I went back to sleep. We went for a bit of a drive out to Beaudesert and Boonah yesterday. There still isn't much stock in the paddocks, but there seems to be a bit of feed about. We went into Wyralong dam for a bit of a look on the way back. That's still almost full, only about a foot or so down from the spillway. Plenty of pelicans, cormorants and kangaroos in the reserve and on the water. But no camping allowed that I could see. Bacon and egg for brekky at our place today.
