If you're considering a split AC, have a look at the Mitsubishi Heavy Industry models. They have some super efficient ones. We have two small ones for some the boys rooms. Worked a treat during the winter lockdown and pretty cheap.

Yes we put them in house at Adelaide River, NT when we fixed it up 18 months ago, excellent AC units.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
The one we put in when we built in 1997 was a ducted Mitzi, looking to the Mitzi again as we have had no issues with it but 25 yrs ia a good innings these days. G went to town to our physio, he was going to go into the Mitzi showroom for info but when he got to AJ's place he had to get to a loo real quick, he felt yucky and spent his appointment time in the loo (both ends making their presence known) AJ made him lay on her couch until she felt he would be ok to drive home, so no other things were done. Rang AJ to say he got home ok and to make another appointment. No worries since he got home. Got 2 text messages today telling me they had sent 2 messages to let me know I have been left $$ from a rellie
.Got fuel today, $146 and paid with card and no pin number asked for ??? So now I am off to bed, goodnight everyone x
Goodnight Robert not Bob x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
That's weird, my post disappeared as I tried to send it. Hope Gman is feeling better now Dot. Buying new air con, makes it sound like you are planning on being in the house for a long time. Onya mate xxxx
After yesterday's investigating lounges, we did a bit more research today. We ended up buying from the Italian mob (Nicka de Scali). He had the style and fabric that we wanted and surprisingly, his price was similar to Uncle Hervey's. Annoyingly, we have a three month wait. Can't buy anything straight out these days.
We then started to pack the van, with our plan to head up the road to Belmont for a few days with our Jayco mob. It will be a smallish event with around 20 vans going. Covid, has sorted out some of them and now that school is back, the kids are sharing grems.

I hope that George is ok Dot. Was it something that you cooked that made him crook?
You're pretty lucky having rello's leaving you money.
I just get texts telling me that they can't deliver the parcel.
I fuelled up the Winny yesty arvo. No pin for $170, but required in the big green shed for over $200. I think the merchant has the option to set the pin threshold now.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dottie,
Yesterday I put $190 on my card at a garden supplies place without having to PIN…
Limit used to be $100, I think VISA may have raised it for some traders where transactions are commonly over that limit.

With advent of Covid in the early days the limit was raised to two hundred dollars to lower the risk of spreading or catching Covid by touching keypads.

Back to reality and a healthier George Dot? xxxx
I have learnt that our bank will only allow you to gather up to $500 on card swipes in any one day and then you have to physically insert card and remember the pin. Saves a lost card from really doing some damage.
We drove all the way up to Belmont, very cruisy. Had a stop at Swansea to get some fresh prawns, which made a yummo dinner and more for tomoz.
This seems like a nice park, but I am feeling sardine canned. Arrived at site to find a telegraph pole that made it a little but difficult. I thought we were managing quite well. I doing my usual directing thing and he trying to follow. A park guy rode up on his golf cart, ignored me, stood next to his nibs and directed him to park. I had the van in a line to where I wanted it to be and was directing to get it to take up most of the site. Park guy took him and van onto the concrete slab, but right in the middle. Leaving a fair bit of space on the side with no door, ie smaller annex space. To say I am pissed off would be an understatement. I ignored his nibs and told him to leave it right where it is. Not happy Jan.
