Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

We have a tree out the front, the only part on our property is the lower trunk & some roots, it hangs out across the road, we applied to council to remove same 23 yrs ago & were refused, eventually it is going to fall onto the road it drops lower & lower, even had to build our fence around the back of it.👎👎
Phyl's Uncle had a similar problem with a tree that was on his property line.
The council refused to remove it saying it was his problem as they were happy with it being where it was.
So he asked for a permit to cut it down, which the Council gladly gave to him.
The next Monday he took a picture of the tree neatly cut vertical to his property line to the Council Chambers saying I cut my bit, the rest of it is yours.
Funny how the Council just found enough time to have it completely down by morning tea.

Good morning everybody. Its 15 here right now, but feels a lot fresher. The man reckons that we will have rain around 10am. Looks like I might get a wet tail then as today is yard work. Lifting and shifting pavers. Whatever you are up to, have a great day everyone. Travel safe.
Cheers

Good morning, 16 cloudy, we have had a light shower this morning but sun is trying to shine thru.

Some might believe you Bernie but no proof, I reckon that you slept in.

Ron, council did come & clean up when the tree dropped a huge branch on the kerb, when I rang re same I was asked if it was on my property, to which I replied, " the bottom of the trunk is the rest of the tree hangs onto your property, the tree that we weren't allowed to remove, " one day it will fall across the road.

Morning all (only just),
NE Victoria is finally starting to warm up... sunny & 24* yesterday, light cloud & 19* today.
Have not had to light the fire for four days! 😀
Cleaned out the firebox, putting the wood box into storage today.
Enough firewood in stock for a good start next winter...
😁👍
Regards & God bless,
