Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good to see that you are chasing up with the bus Mechanic now Dot. Sorry to make such a negative suggestion, but you need your bus now, not whenever. You idea of going to the copshop is perfect. xxxx

Today the rain cleared, the roads and bridges were open, but still the people stayed away. We sold a couple of plates and some earrings, but basically, we are not about to make out first million just yet. The people who did come, left us in amazement with some of the weird fashions. Since when are fishnet stockings a thing? Some of these people mustn't have mirrors in their homes. They just looked plain weird. Many were dressed in the sort of pretty dresses that we were dressed when we were kids. Somehow, these did not look good on mature bodies, just most unattractive.

We didn't feel too bad about the day, just tired and ready for an early night.

sleep well out there xxx

I see that the Fazazz led from start to finish at Melbourne.
So much for the "mechanical problems" plaguing them in the warm-up.
Somebody sandbagging, maybe? 8-)

Dot, Hardly normal here, will send a techy person to install the tv (at a cost of course) Good luck getting it sorted xxxx

We had a slow start to today, with a lovely sleep in and the highlight of the day was a trip to aldi. We stocked up with tiny Easter egg treats and a couple of frozen dinners to keep us going a bit longer. Tonight's gastromic surprise was meatballs and veg. The meals were adequate and not very exciting, but it helps to stretch out the pre-cooked meals that I had made and stocked in the tiny freezer.

Moving on tomorrow

Picked the bus up this arvo, After 6 weeks out in a paddock the dust is thick as a cheese sanga inside and out so a couple of days cleaning the inside completely that includes in every draw and surface. Then the outside, esp the roof but that will be a power cleaner job. The TV arrived this morning, the one man was here and gone within 5 minutes, we were told by the salesman that the delivery people will unwrap and take away the packing material. Well no that doesn't happen in reality, G asked the guy before he turned to exit about what the salesman told us, he said "We aren't allowed to do that" WTF so I rang to ask exactly that, lady said someone would ring me.. OK he did, told him what had been done and said and he said he rang the salesman and he said he didn't say anything about the delivery man taking the rubbish away, so I told this guy "well your salesman is telling porkey pies, he did say those things to us" Then this guy said we could get some company to come and set the tv up, I replied, "If you pay for that then ok but we are not paying out for it" With that he said "Sorry about this and I hung up" Anyway G and I figured it out and it works BUT why is there things like Google, You tube, Netflix, You tube music, & Prime music buttons??? what do they do? Rosy dog went home and Brian is happy. Her mum Flo went to a funeral, I asked her about it and what the supper was, she said as funerals go it was sad but the supper was 2 dinner plates of biscuits of the Arnotts variety type for around 40 people. Bit cheap..hey How did your sales end up Deborah? Freezer clean out tomorrow. Signing off for tonight so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Homeless aka Brian x :D (PM sent)

Dot, what brand tv did you finish up getting? If it is an LG, then setup is pretty simple. By the sound of things you might have it sorted , up to a point. All those Netflix, Google, Stan, etc things that come up are services that you can connect the tv up to using your household wi-fi.
Some are free to air, others you have to pay for.

Morning all.

Dot, Good news that you got the bus back. Not so about having to clean it. Can't you just dump the packaging in the builders skip next door?

School holidays here; Boys have friends over. Four is better than three. Stops the the left out feeling happening.

Dot, you may find it best to just ignore those buttons on the tv. In reality, if you have lots of giggy things on your internet plan, then they will use it up for you. If you are like us and only have a small giggy thingy, and no fixed internet, not worth the effort. Sales? you are funny, not a profitable weekend. But we had enough laughs to make it worthwhile. Has your bus been fixed to your satisfaction? not good that you have to clean it tho. Remember when mechanics would return your vehicle in a shinier state than when you left it with them? Oh I forgot, that was the good old days.   xxxx

We did a google search for the times and distance we planned to travel. Mr google said it would take us 2 hours from Western Sydney. In reality it took more like 4 hours with mountain climbing, winding roads and ridiculous speed limits.

On the application forms for camping, there was no mention of the fact that campsites have no access to water. Once settled in, our tiny tanks do not have enough for us to have a weeks worth of very quick showers and I can't use shared facilities. As luck would have it, I had asked for a site to be close to the exhibition centre due to my stock being so heavy and fragile. The spot they gave us is very close to the big hall and has a water tap nearby. We only had to connect three hoses to be able to reach it, but we succeeded. I do feel very lucky to have this wet luxury, but it would be my first comment on the final forms when we leave next week. I am sure that we are not the only people who are not self sufficient enough to last a week without water deliveries.

sweet dreams xxx

All this tech stuff, discrimination against old people. Why so many TV stations, eg ch 7 has about 5 or so same with the others. Jd the bus is absolutely dust filled just as it was when we did the Mt Augustus in WA except the dust is brown not red. No skip next door now only concrete  Off to get our 2nd booster and flu jabs L) arm and whooping cough & Tetanus in R) arm tomorrow.. I reckon someone should make those bubbles that they have used for isolation but make them able to be mobile. Time for bed now so goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Pet-els x :D
