Patio Reno......

Well I've been a bit preoccupied the last few weeks due to doing some renovations to the patio area at the back of our home.
It was originally constructed by the previous owner about 20 years ago & was a shocking job. Treated pine posts with wood rails & galvanised roofing iron nailed on which they some time later added some wooden trellis above with green shadecloth tacked over. They then used 20 X 40mm pine to attach it to the verandah roof & one again cover with shade cloth that the rain came through. The moisture that came through caused the pavers inside to have green mould/fungus growing on them.
Have a guess how many times in the last 18 years I've been asked to "fix it"??? Now double it!!! to be continued..........
