Police are appealing for information after an attempted robbery and shots being fired at a Gerroa holiday park overnight (Saturday 13 April 2013)

About 11.15pm, a 57-year-old male employee was woken by a commotion in the reception area

He was confronted by two men holding a rifle and a sledgehammer who demanded money from him.

The offenders were distracted by a noise and discharged the firearm.

The men ran empty-handed from the park and discharged the firearm again before leaving the Crooked River Road park.

doesn't matter if you love caravan parks or hate them, NOBODY deserves to have be put through an ordeal like this. And don't forget that the poor guy being held up was probably just a Joe Blow doing his job, not the Fat Cat that owns the park!!

Bit of decorum folks please. :D
