AN INVESTIGATION is under way into the theft of a four-wheel drive from a Dubbo caravan park.

The grey 2012 model Jeep Cherokee went missing from the Big 4 between about 8.30pm Thursday night and 6.30am yesterday morning.

A spokesperson for Orana Local Area Command said it appeared the vehicle was unlocked and the keys to the four-wheel drive had been inside it.
