Howdy!

My name is Jeff, my home base is Innisfail, Nth QLD.
Myself, I am a retired Motor Mechanic / Electronics Technician / Computer Technician in my mid 50's, my wife Sharon is a retired Pre School / Kindergarten Teacher.
Our vehicle is a 1994 Toyota Hiace Commuter that we have called Plodalong. (needless to say, it's a diesel)
Plodalong is operational and as he has just recently been fitted with a new diesel engine we decided to take him out on a few occasions now for short trips in and around Far North QLD to bed the engine in and to iron out any kinks.
There are still more things to be done to Plodalong like a decent sized water tank and more battery + solar capacity but all the items needed are in hand, it's a matter of time before they are all added to him.
His current mass is 2620Kg with all fuel and water tanks full and my wife and I sitting in him, his maximum GVM is 2850Kg.

Hi Jeff & Sharon, welcome to the forum. Mechanic, electronics tech, computer tech and early years school teacher, wonder if you will be able to find any work travelling You will need a good muffler on the Hi Ace so you can sneak out of town without getting dragged back.

Hi Terry, we are (like alopt of others here, refugee's from the kaput OZERV forum and are CMCA members too......for how long I dunno.
