Lease

Post by Dot »

If you had a lease ok'd by a "verbal" agreement and awaiting the "written" agreement would you begin trading??

Nope! I wouldn't even open the door.
But then again .... possession is 9 tenths of the law as they say.
Once in there let them try and get you out!!
Who are you waiting to 'written' the lease agreement?

No way, written approval to rent must be given before any trading can happen. Demand a lease asap. xxxx

Insurance will not cover you if there is no written lease. All bases have to covered and the dots and T's crossed, for that one in a million event that should never happen and will probably never happen, but.......
It aint worth the risks. xxxx

Gone too far down the track now Bruce and it is G's name at stake to chuck it at this late stage. He isn't going to let the doors open till we are 100% legal etc. Always the red tape and knockers that are the hardest to cope with but we reckon after it gets going it should do ok as it once did many yrs ago. Plus the couple that are the trouble makers are pretty soon to fall off the perch things should get better. Either way we are heading off as planned this year and leaving them to it.
