yes they do make an electric blanket you can use in your MH Dot. It is called an electric blanket.

. Your standard one you use at home does not use much power. I use ours when free camping.

Thank you lot for your very informative replies as usual

but it is not for me, I have 2 pussies to keep me warm and the Gman of course
So I guess the answer is , an ordinary electric blanket can be used without 240 power.

via a suitable inverter....... you will get away with a 200w one.

ummmm...... A 150w MSW inverter will run a double bed electric blanket with power to spare, not the fancy dial a heat display stuff, just the 0.1.2.3 switch type. Been using them for yrs after the first Maleny freeze the butt off they became mandatory equipment

even if it was on all night I doubt a good battery would have any problems supplying the power required, but if you can sleep on an electric blanket on 3 all night you need more than just an electric blanket I think

Even Brian Homeless has bought one now, getting soft in his old age

You would need to use your inverter Dot. Keep in mind that on maximum you are only talking about 60 watt for the electric blanket but you would only be using about half that. So you wouldn't be using the blanket on full and the thermostat will be cutting in and out.
EDIT: Terry beat me too it
EDIT EDIT: and Martin.

talk about slow typing.

Thank you once again I shall pass your answers along. We don't need an electric blanket It is called Menopause but at the moment it is the good old RRV kicking in and out again...
